Your new role**Our client, an international player in the medical industry, regularly looks for accounting & finance professionals to expand their financial team in Aalst. You will join an international team of about 70 employees who are responsible for the accounting activities for the EMEA region. Since each service has its own specialization, you can use your knowledge in various areas: revenue, fixed assets, VAT, intercompany, inventory, costing, budgeting/forecasting, etc. Given the rapidly growing character of the company, internal mobility is strongly encouraged; this way, after a few years, you can further broaden your knowledge within another team or department.
**What you will need to succeed**
The company is looking for employees with a bachelor's and/or master's degree in a financial or business related field of study. Of course you have relevant knowledge and/or experience within accounting or financial analysis. Knowledge of US-GAAP and/or IFRS is a major asset. You have fluent computer skills; SAP experience is recommended. Excel holds no secrets for you; if you have knowledge of other reporting tools, this is certainly an advantage. You work accurately, service-oriented and you are numerical. You master English at a professional level; knowledge of Dutch is not an absolute requirement. You like to work in a changing environment and you can easily deal with change management.
