**Your challenge**:
As a Financial Controller, you enjoy working with international accounting teams, making sure the **monthly consolidation process** runs smoothly. On top of that you have a large interest in **processes and systems**, and you know how to energize people to deliver timely and high-quality work.

You are responsible for:

- Consolidating the monthly financial data in Lucanet, our conso and reporting tool, including coordinating with the internal EU and US accounting teams.
- Coordinating and verifying the **monthly financial closing** process of OMP Brazil and OMP India in collaboration with the local accounting/tax company and local OMP team.
- Solving issues involving accounting and financial reporting.
- Coordinating with auditors and providing full support for audits, together with the accounting teams.
- Creating financial **reports in Lucanet **and** Excel** and providing commentary on the figures.
- Composing budget, quarterly forecasts, and multiyear plans together with the controller.
- Performing **variance analysis** of actuals versus budget, forecast, or prior year.
- Meeting with budget owners to discuss variances and using this information for forecast updates.
- Understanding the business to **develop relevant KPIs**, working closely with different departments.
- Composing and updating KPI reports regularly.
- Providing ad hoc financial expertise as required.

**Your team**: As our new Financial Controller, you’ll be part of the Finance & Accounting team. Finance & Accounting ensures correct and transparent financial reporting and provides fiscal and financial support. On top of this, our team makes sure legislation is respected in everything we undertake.

**Your profile**:
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:

- A master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.- 5+ years of experience in analytical accounting within a multinational or large Belgian company.- Solid knowledge of BEGAAP consolidation.- Strong MS Excel skills and a keen interest in reporting structure.- An interest in processes, systems, and people to monitor overall data quality. The ability to work independently and organize tasks effectively, with accountability for meeting deadlines.- An interest in working in a fast-growing, international environment.- Results-oriented and committed to consistently delivering high-quality work.- Eager to understand how business activities impact financial data.- The desire to collaborate with finance colleagues and team leads from various departments.- Fluent Dutch and proficient English for our international setting.**Soft skills**:
