**OVER DE UGENT**
De Universiteit Gent is een van de belangrijkste onderwijs

**OPDRACHT**
De faculteit Economie en Bedrijfskunde aan de Universiteit Gent heeft een vacature voor een
fulltime positie voor een docent (tenure track) in de onderzoeksgroep HRM en
Organisatiemanagement met ingang van 01/09/2024. Het betreft een vijfjarige tijdelijke
aanstelling in het tenure tracksysteem. Zie voor het verder verloop van de academische

**Academisch onderwijs**
U doceert verschillende vakken in het domein van de betrokken onderzoeksgroep. Deze vakken omvatten zowel bredere inleidende managementvakken (Nederlandstalig) als gespecialiseerde vakken in OB en strategisch management (alsook de integratie van beide vakgebieden). U doceert verschillende vakken. Uw onderwijsbelasting wordt zoveel als mogelijk gealigneerd met uw onderzoeksfocus. U bent bereid (indien noodzakelijk) om u te verdiepen in de diverse onderwijstopics van de betrokken cluster (bv. HRM en MVO). Daarnaast begeleidt u master
- en bachelorproeven.
**Wetenschappelijk onderzoek**
U bouwt onderzoek uit in het domein van “Organizational Behavior” (Organisatiegedrag). Het onderzoek binnen de betrokken cluster focust zich op het analyseren van de blackbox tussen (a) de implementatie van managementsystemen, managementpraktijken en management artefacten, en (b) de impact van deze tools op individuen, teams en groepen binnen de organisatie alsook de relatie met individuele en organisatorische performantie. Hierbij is er sterke aandacht voor de attributieprocessen, sense making processen en perceptuele processen die de adoptie en de impact van de eerder geschetste managementinterventies alsook besluitvorming en organisatorische attitudes beïnvloeden. Uw onderzoek focust zich in hoofdzaak op (strategische) managementbesluitvorming, en de (multilevel) impact van managementartefacten, -beslissingen en -systemen. U bent mee verantwoordelijk voor de uitbouw van deze onderzoekslijn: het aantrekken van onderzoeksfinanciering, het aansluiten bij de internationale academische netwerken ter zake, en het publiceren van onderzoeksresultaten in hoogstaande academische tijdschriften.
**Wetenschappelijke dienstverlening**
U werkt mee aan de interne en externe dienstverlening van de vakgroep Marketing, Innovatie en Organisatie.

**Kennis/ervaring**
- U heeft reeds hoogstaand wetenschappelijk onderzoek verricht in het opgegeven vakgebied zoals blijkt uit publicaties in kwaliteitsvolle wetenschappelijke tijdschriften en boeken met peer review;
- U bent in staat om wetenschappelijk onderzoek te initiëren en te begeleiden en hiervoor de nodige fondsen te verzamelen;
- U beschikt over didactische vaardigheden die gericht zijn op het ontwikkelen en realiseren van academische competenties bij universiteitsstudenten;
- Strekken tot aanbeveling:
- Internationale mobiliteit o.m. door onderzoeksverblijven in onderzoeksinstellingen extern aan de instelling waaraan de hoogste academische graad werd behaald;
- Positief geëvalueerde ervaring met verstrekt en/of georganiseerd onderwijs op academisch niveau;
- Onderwijsprofessionalisering;
- Grondige kennis van kwantitatieve en multilevel onderzoeksmethoden;
- Ervaring met onderzoek in de diverse settings waarbinnen de onderzoekscluster actief is (privaat, publiek en non-profit).
- U dient de onderwijstaal waarin u een opleidingsonderdeel zal doceren te beheersen op het ERK-niveau C1. U kan dit aantonen aan de hand van een taalattest of een diploma behaald aan een instelling waarin die taal de onderwijstaal is. Bovendien vereist artikel II.270, -1 van de Codex Hoger Onderwijs dat: (i) u binnen de 2 jaar na de aanstelling de Nederlandse taal minstens op ERK-niveau A2 dient te beheersen. (ii) u op het moment van benoeming of ten laatste 5 jaar na de aanstelling het vereiste beheersingsniveau op ERK-niveau B2 moet kunnen aantonen.
