The ESC is currently looking for a **Public Health and Economics Team Manager**for an undetermined contract, CDI, as soon as possible to work at in our offices in Brussels, Belgium.

As part of 5 multidisciplinary experts in health data analysis, scientific project management and project coordination, your main mission is to lead the Public Health data and risk model activities of the ESC, supporting to the respective Groups of volunteers of the Data Science Committee, and lead the public health research department and the team, reporting to the Epidemiology and Data science Director.
- In details:_
- Develop the scientific strategy (together with the ESC leadership and management), implementation plan and control measures for the scientific projects in order to support the ESC strategic aims and mission
- Be the main interlocutor between cardiologists, stakeholders and project managers in charge, in order to guarantee the effective management, project progression and their conformity to projects objectives
- Actively participate and develop the dissemination of the scientific findings to the relevant audiences (Congress, Publications, Support to advocacy etc), in order to contribute to a higher awareness of CVD burden and strategies to reduce it
- Act as the internal referent for health economics projects in order to develop health economics activities to support the ESC mission

**Profile**:

- Hard skills:_
- Minimum Master degree, MSc, PhD, MD in Medical, Public Health, Health Economics, Project Management, Science
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Health Economics Expert/Manager, HEOR Expert/Manager, International Project Manager, Project Management Operations lead, Scientific Projects Lead/Manager
- Project management in international collaborative research frameworks
- Resources and budget management, including workload planning
- Data acumen, Health economics and/or epidemiology background is a plus
- Scientific publication writing and review
- Fluent in English in mandatory
- Soft skills:_
- Attention to detail
- Critical thinking
- Influencing without authority
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Interpersonal communication.

Position based in Brussels - Permanent contract

Belgian labor law provisions

**Conditions**:
Fixed salary + 13,92th month

Full time, 40h/week

20 annual leaves + 12 extra days off / year

Lunch vouchers card

Possibility of teleworking up to 3 days a week, after two months' integration at ESC + fixed daily allowance
