As Jr. Underwriter Property, you are responsible for accepting new risks and handling part of our current portfolio of property risks. When accepting risks, you determine the premium based on the information received and the insurance conditions, tailored to the risk profile and the wishes and needs of clients. In this process you work closely together with other UWR colleagues, our risk engineering department and insurance brokers.

Together with your colleagues you will build up further your expertise in Property. Team work is key alongside the independent coordination of your own customers and portfolio from A to Z. You’re a transparent communicator and you want to broaden your professional network with a passion for the Insurance business.

**Your responsibilities are**:

- Manage, maintain and develop your portfolio with expertise in Property insurance
- Manage, develop and broaden contacts with insurance brokers and service providers and your internal colleagues
- Evaluate and analyse the insurance risks for Property by processing data, analysing information and fact finding consolidation to result in accurate decision making
- Coordinate, follow up and process all administrative requirements regarding your customers and contacts where you work in a well arranged manner with and on your files
- Develop and roll out of new products by combining financial and analytical knowledge with assertiveness and commercial approach
- Focus on results with a passion for the business
- Keen on further developing your expertise
- Work and contribute towards an excellent team performance

**Requirements/Profile**
- Bachelor diploma or equal
- Fluent communication in both Dutch/French and English
- Affinity with insurance and property
- Commercial flair and analytical thinking
- Motivated and result driven
- Affinity with IT systems and software
