Product Owner

We are a Belgium company that offers software solutions to dealerships and automobile traders in Europe, and the newest member of the EAG group (together with Carvago, which revolutionized the online automotive market). Since 2013, Fastback offers efficient and profitable solutions to professionalize all processes for trade-ins, sales and used vehicle stock management.

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to drive the success of our innovative Fastback projects. As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about product development, possesses strong leadership skills, and is ready to make a significant impact.

**What will you do?**:

- Define product features based on customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
- Develop and maintain a product backlog, roadmap, create user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed product requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and marketing, to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
- Ensure effective communication and shared understanding of product goals between stakeholders and the team.
- Make data-driven decisions and regularly analyze product performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate SCRUM ceremonies (stand-up, retro, planning). Lead sprint planning sessions, review deliverables, and adjust priorities as needed to meet project timelines.

**What we require?**:

- Practical experience as a Product Owner in a software development environment, particularly in the ecommerce business.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, with a focus on Scrum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Provide inputs and gather outputs from analysts, stakeholders, and designers.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.
- Analytical mindset and a results-oriented approach to problem-solving. You can analyze, propose, and implement processes, understand deadlines, and can focus on set goals.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software development processes.
