Ons kantoor in Gent is gemakkelijk bereikbaar en biedt een aangename werkomgeving zonder micromanagement. Het R&D team zorgt voor de design en rollout van de Azure-blueprint waar onze SAAS-oplossing op draait bij klanten wereldwijd.

**Azure Architect voor het R&D -team**:
Als Azure Cloud Architect ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen en onderhouden van de architectuur-blueprint in Azure. Je fungeert als verbindende schakel tussen het Azure-engineering-team, de Solution Architects, Microsoft en de interne projectteams die de implementatie bij klanten doen. Extern ben je ook het aanspreekpunt voor bijv. Security-vraagstukken bij onze klanten.

Het is een interne functie met standplaats Gent. Reizen is heel beperkt. Maar als je graag eens naar de US reist kan dit. De werkgever is Belgisch/Gents.

**Functieomschrijving**:
Als Azure Cloud Architect draait alles om de blueprint van de architectuur. Deze blueprint vormt de kern van de technologie en het (SAAS) platform dat wordt gedeployed via de Delivery/Operations bij klanten wereldwijd.

De Azure architect is de liason tussen het R&D/Engineering team en de Solution Architects + projectteams die instaan voor de implementatie bij de klant.

Je bewaakt hierbij de Azure referentie-architectuur van onze SAAS-oplossing.

**Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden**:

- ** Blueprint Management**: Bijhouden en onderhouden van de architectuur-blueprint in Azure, inclusief Security, Azure Virtual Network, netwerkbeveiliging, Azure FrontDoor en Zero Trust.
- ** Security**: Verder ontwikkelen en uitvoeren van een 'Cloud First Security' mindset, inclusief security assessments en rapportages. De 'recommendations' toelichten.
- Wat is de impact van wijzigingen / nieuwe technologie op SECURITY? (eerste analyse, recommendations)
- Bij nieuwe functionaliteiten: een assessment maken van security impact van nieuwe Azure componenten (Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Public Endpoints,....): de deuren naar de applicatie en de data moeten zeer goed beveiligd blijven
- ** Blueprint-automatisatie op tijd evalueren**: bevorderen van standaardisatie en automatisering. Sinds 2 jaar zijn we geëvolueerd naar een gestandaardiseerde architectuur en het gebruik van Infrastructure as Code, waardoor onze projecten veiliger, schaalbaarder en efficiënter worden.
- ** Interne Afstemming**: Samenwerken met R&D, solution architects en engineers (en de klant) om de blueprint consistent en actueel te houden.
- ** Klantenrelaties**: Deelname aan wekelijkse meetings met klanten om risico's en kosten af te wegen, en regelmatige updates met klanten tijdens de Go Lives.

**Kwalificaties**:

- Ervaring met het ontwerpen, onderhouden en updaten van een architectuur-blueprint in Azure.
- Sterke focus op security, inclusief het beveiligen van public endpoints.
- Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden voor samenwerking met interne teams en klanten.
- Vermogen om effectief te delegeren (niet alles zelf doen) en te werken met mondige klanten en solution architects.
