Interior Designer

**The role**:
We create brands and spaces that make people feel. The open role has a clear focus on FF&E being an integral part of the design process.

You will partly design projects yourself but you main focus is being our FF&E specialist.

During the full design trajectory as a specialist you will assist the design team and provide a strong FF&E guidance.

As a specialist you will constantly update your knowledge about FF&E (suppliers / brands / sustainability scores) and share this knowledge with the design team.

You will have the end responsibility of the sample library, material and furniture listings inspiring your colleagues.

**About you**:

- You have exceptional and proven design skills in interior design and FF&E selection (5 years)
- You love to translate a brand’s values into a full experience in all its details
- You are obsessed with materials, finishes and furniture
- Defining the right FF&E gives you energy
- You have an excellent knowledge of construction materials and FF&E specifications providers
- Going into detail is when you get ecstatic
- You love to know what’s coming up and are aware of new trends in terms of design
- You have a sustainable mindset and would love to know more about this topic
- You’re not afraid of looking at things differently and challenging the status quo
- You are a strong communicator with internal and external stakeholders
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work in team
- You know your programs : Sketch-up (Enscape), Vectorworks/ Autocad, Adobe creative suite, google drive, etc
- You understand that every design should fit a budget
- Both freelance and full-time canditates can apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing strong FF&E to the design team
- FF&E design (FF&E Selection & listing)
- Budget the FF&E selection
- Take the lead in client presentations
- Coordinate with the interior team to execute all FF&E design solutions
- Attend vendor presentations and inform the team on new products
- End responsibility of the sample library organised following our sustainability classification

**Interieurvormgever - FF&E specialist**:
Bij WeWantMore creëren we impactvolle merkidentiteiten en interieurs. Om ons interieur team te versterken, zijn we op zoek naar een interieurvormgever/FF&E specialist. In deze functie ligt de focus op FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) als integraal onderdeel van het designproces. Je zal ook interieurs ontwerpen, maar binnen jouw functie ligt de focus vooral op FF&E. Je krijgt binnen het team de rol als FF&E-specialist. Als FF&E-specialist deel jij jouw kennis (leveranciers/ merken/ duurzaamheidsscore) met collega’s. Je draagt de eindverantwoordelijkheid over onze materialenbibliotheek en inspireert de andere ontwerpers met (nieuwe) materialen.

**Profiel**:

- Je beschikt over relevante ervaring (bij voorkeur 5 jaar) in interieurvormgeving en FF&E.
- Je houdt ervan om merkwaarden om te zetten naar ervaringen.
- Materialen, finishes_ _en meubelselecties doen jouw hart sneller kloppen.
- De juiste FF&E interieurelementen samenstellen geeft je energie.
- Je bent vertrouwd met bouwmaterialen en FF&E specificaties.
- Je hebt oog voor detail.
- Je volgt designtrends op de voet.
- Duurzaamheid is voor jou een belangrijk onderdeel van het designproces en je wil hierover meer te weten komen.
- Je durft grenzen te verleggen en de dingen anders te bekijken.
- Je bent communicatief en klantgericht.
- Je hebt een ondernemende persoonlijkheid en werkt graag in team.
- Sketch-up (Enscape), Vectorworks/ Autocad, Adobe creative suite en Google Drive kennen geen geheimen voor jou.
- Je begrijpt dat aan elk design een budget verbonden is.
- Je kan freelance of full time aan de slag.

- FF&E-kennis delen met ons team van interieurontwerpers.
- FF&E design (FF&E selectie en oplijsting)
- De FF&E-selectie budgetteren.
- Klantenpresentaties leiden.
- FF&E design coördineren binnen het team.
- Presentaties van leveranciers bijwonen en interessante vondsten met het team delen.
- De eindverantwoordelijkheid over onze materialenbibliotheek dragen en deze organiseren in functie van onze duurzame classificatiemethode.
