As a Domain Architect, you will be at the forefront of our IT Business Domain at the enterprise level. Your role will involve collaborating on the corporate Capability Map, linking people, processes, data, and systems to realize our strategic objectives. You will work closely with Portfolio Management to define roadmaps that align with business needs and future target state architectures. Your expertise will ensure proper guidance within the established Reference Architecture and IT Vision and Strategy during project implementations.

**Key responsibilities**:

- **Domain expertise**: Profound knowledge of IT processes and frameworks such as IT4IT, ITIL, Information Security Management Systems, and Identity and Access Management.
- **Architecture development**: Create and maintain Business & Data Architectures, working with business stakeholders to understand and model underlying Business Value.
- **Vendor and solution selection**: Collaborate with Solution and Technical Architects in selecting vendors and solutions.
- **Digital roadmap development**: Develop, document, and maintain a Digital Roadmap with IT4IT stakeholders, delivery organizations, and Portfolio Management.
- **Business process assessment**: Assess business and technology requirements and propose IT4IT landscape improvements.
- **Capability mapping**: Contribute to the Business Capability Map in line with Value Streams and Goals.
- **Consistency verification**: Ensure proposed solutions align with IT Vision and Strategy.
- **As-Is analysis**: Conduct detailed investigations and document the current state in the Architecture Repository (ADOIT).
- **Quality assurance**: Perform quality checks on the Architecture Repository and resolve inconsistencies.

**Education and training**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

**Experience**:

- Minimum of eight years of experience in IT, with a focus on roles such as Domain Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Business Analyst.
- Strategy and management consulting experience is highly recommended.

**Required knowledge and skills**:

- **Languages**: Fluent in Dutch or French and English.
- **Industry Experience**: Experience in public transport or rail industry is highly desirable.
- **Analytical Techniques**: Proficient in use cases, scenario building, and other analysis techniques.
- **Notations and Methodologies**: Expertise in ArchiMate® 3.1, BPMN, and UML.
- **Communication**: Excellent communicator, capable of engaging with business stakeholders and C-level executives.
- **Presentation Skills**: Strong presentation skills.
- **Detail-Oriented**: Methodical, thorough, and detail-oriented.
- **People Skills**: Diplomatic and patient in dealing with people.
- **Problem Solving**: Proactive mentality with strong problem-solving skills.
- **Task management**: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and handle stress effectively.
- **Stakeholder management**: Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of effectively engaging with internal and external contacts.
