**Je rol & werkomgeving**:
Als economist ondersteun je alle ING-departementen en klanten met analyses en vooruitzichten van de financieel-economische omgeving. Je draagt als expert bij aan het imago van de bank in contacten met klanten en de pers.
Je maakt deel uit van een team van in Brussel gebaseerde economisten die vooral de Belgische bankactiviteiten en klanten ondersteunen. Tegelijkertijd behoor je tot het Global Research team en werk je samen met internationale collega’s om de globale economische visies te bepalen.
**Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden**:
**Economische analyse en voorspellingen**
- Een diepgaande analyse uitvoeren van Belgische macro
- en sectordata, alsook financiële data.
- Bijdragen aan de analyse van macro-economische ontwikkelingen en structurele trends in geselecteerde economieën, om voorspellingen te doen en scenario’s op te stellen met betrekking tot de belangrijkste macro-economische en financiële variabelen.
- Analyseren van micro-economische onderwerpen met betrekking tot het financieel gedrag van individuen.
(Schrijven van zowel korte notities als diepgaande rapporten over deze onderwerpen).
**Interne en externe communicatie**
- Communiceren van de belangrijkste visies en prognoses aan collega’s, klanten en de pers
(Geven van presentaties en interviews, opnemen van webinars, video’s en podcasts)

Als economist moet je ook het volgende hebben:
- Universitair diploma in (toegepaste) economische wetenschappen.
- Een aanvullend diploma is een pluspunt.
- Enige ervaring in economisch onderzoek
- Perfect kennis Nederlands of Frans met uitstekende mondelinge/schriftelijke vaardigheden in het Engels en een praktische kennis van de andere belangrijke landstaal.
- Computervaardigheden, met een goede kennis van MS Office, het werken met grafieken en PowerPoint-presentaties.
- Goede communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
- Een sterk analytisch vermogen hebben
- Teamspeler, maar in staat om autonoom te werken
- Dynamisch, met zin voor initiatief
