Ordina (a Sopra Steria Group company) is currently looking for an AI Architect.

**Your Impact**:
As an AI Architect, you will be responsible for translating business challenges into AI-driven solutions, positioning the customer for a successful future. You understand AI's technological capabilities, which you use to inspire both employees and companies and link those capabilities to the needs in the market. With these insights, you conceptualize viable AI solutions and lead the project team to implement them together with them, keeping that foot in the mud. All of this whilst considering legal, ethical, and moral boundaries of course.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with AI Professionals:

- Work with data scientists and AI experts to drive digital transformation by identifying and piloting AI use cases to a production worthy level.
- Discuss feasibility and architectural design with business teams, converting business leaders' visions into practical technical solutions while identifying misaligned initiatives.

Align Technical Implementation:

- Collect input from various stakeholders, such as business users, data scientists, security experts, data engineers, analysts, and IT operations.
- Develop processes and products that align with these inputs and meet both current and future requirements.

Define AI Architecture:

- Define the AI architecture and select appropriate technologies from a mix of open-source and commercial options.
- Choose deployment models (cloud, on-premises, or hybrid) that best fit your needs and ensure seamless integration with existing data management and analytics tools.

Improve AI Practices:

- Conduct audits of AI tools and practices across data, models, and software engineering, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Implement feedback mechanisms to assess AI services, support model recalibration, and retrain models as needed.

Thought Leadership:

- Act as an expert within AI, generating innovative ideas, insights, and opinions, and sharing them with colleagues and customers.
- Engage in knowledge sharing through training, knowledge sharing sessions, and other forms of communication.

**Your profile**:

- You have at least 7+ years of experience in AI and Data Science.
- You have multiple examples where you coordinated a team in building end-to-end AI solutions.
- You have experience in supporting the secure, rapid development, training, evaluation, debugging, and deployment of AI models across practical and theoretical scenarios.
- You are experienced in developing (deep learning) models.
- You have experience with modern computer vision and image recognition tools or platforms to develop and implement solutions related to image classification, object detection and tracking, semantic and instance segmentation.
- You have expertise in working with LLMs (GPT, BERT, etc.) and are familiar with NLP and LLM evaluation metrics.
- You have hands-on experience in the development of AI solutions in cloud environments like Microsoft azure or AWS.
- You have an advanced level in Python.

- Conduct thorough code reviews, particularly in Python, to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Guide consultants from Proof of Concept (POC) to production, leveraging your infrastructure knowledge to support deployment and optimization.
- Utilize your infrastructure knowledge to design scalable, reliable, and high-performance production systems.
- You are fluent in Dutch or French and in English.
- You have experience in improving AI/ML strategies.
- You are resident in Belgium and look forward to working a limited days a week at the client's or Ordina offices.
