**Operational Excellence & IT systems Lead**:
The core function of an operational excellence lead in Bridgestone’s vision is to improve and optimize operational processes and procedures within an organization to achieve maximum efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. This involves identifying areas of improvement, analyzing data and metrics, developing and implementing solutions, and continuously monitoring and measuring progress to ensure sustained success.

The operational excellence lead works closely with various departments within the organization to identify and address process-related issues that may impact the quality services, customer satisfaction, or overall business performance.

At the same time, IT & Process support are crucial functions within Bridgestone’s largest distribution center in Europe and require technical affinity combined with the capability to interact with both local operational stakeholders and corporate technical and strategical functions. So we consider this as an important part of this job as well.

**Main responsibilities**:

- **Operational excellence related tasks**
- Conducting analyses of existing processes, procedures, and systems to identify areas for improvement and opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvement projects.
- Establishing metrics and performance indicators to measure progress towards operational excellence goals and objectives.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive buy-in and support for operational excellence initiatives.
- Continuously monitoring and analyzing performance data to identify opportunities for further improvement.
- **IT support related tasks**
- Point of contact with BS Servicedesk for resolving hard
- and software issues, system changes or updates
- Internal point of contact for end-users in Zeebrugge for troubleshooting hard
- and software issues
- IT onboarding for newcomers (accounts, hardware, system setup,)
- Local support for SAP/ERP/WMS issues
- Responsible for maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure, to keep them fully operational
- EDP budget responsibility
- **Project related tasks**
- Identification of new opportunities
- ROI calculation and delivering business cases
- End to end management of projects
- Management of timing, budget and resources
