At Bruker Nuclear Molecular Imaging, we love to be one step ahead of the field and set new standards. We understand that getting data efficiently in a reliable way is crucial to translational and drug development research. We believe that nuclear molecular imaging increases the speed and quality of life science research. It’s our mission to improve the accessibility to these imaging technologies for teams in translational and drug development research. The Modular Benchtop Imaging solutions of the B, Y and X CUBES that were developed by MOLECUBES play a fundamental role in the realization of our mission.
MOLECUBES is a team of 25 people located in Ghent and has joined the Bruker Preclinical Imaging Division in 2021. Together, we are pushing the field of preclinical research to new horizons and contribute to cures for diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer's disease. The modular benchtop preclinical imaging solutions, the CUBES, allowing researchers to perform high-performance and high-quality SPECT/CT and PET/CT studies even when being new to the field and in any small lab.
We are offering the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in Ghent, that is passionate about giving scientists the right tools to preclinically test new drugs and perhaps, down the line, help cure cancer once and for all We are an experienced team of driven individuals, devoted to being best of class in our preclinical segment. To support our fast growth of CUBES, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on business developer to join us on this exciting journey
**Responsibilities**:
As a business developer, you are passionate about the opportunities that preclinical nuclear molecular imaging offers and want to evangelize the translational and drug development research community. You like to work autonomously on approaches that make us reach new contacts, digitally & personal and at conferences. You work in close collaboration with the sales team to build and support a strong business development strategy.
- You want to spread the modular benchtop imaging word and represent our nuclear molecular imaging solutions at international conferences.
- You are curious and eager to explore ways to put modular benchtop imaging solutions on the map and enter with our products into markets that have no experience with molecular imaging yet.
- You find a CRM tool one of the best inventions ever - coming in just 2nd behind the great products that you will put in the market.
- You team up with product managers and the sales colleagues to develop full ownership over the business development strategy, planning and take accountability of its execution.
- You are willing to grow into a Head of Business Development role for a portfolio of molecular imaging products.
Qualifications:
- You have a scientific background in biology, medicine, bio-engineering or similar and are passionate to know all the ins and outs of the molecular imaging tools you bring to the market.
- You have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a sales or commercial role with a clear love to be the first to seal the deal with new types of customers.
- You have great interpersonal skills that allow you to build bridges - both internally and externally.
- Ideally, you would be working out of Ghent to build up easily your local team and network. You would also travel on a regular basis to meet the colleagues of Bruker Preclinical Imaging in Germany, and you are willing to travel to worldwide whenever required.
