**Responsibilities**:
Codit is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our organization and lead our finance unit. As the CFO, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial success of the company by overseeing financial operations, performing risk management, and developing investment strategies. Your leadership and expertise will contribute to Codit's growth and financial stability.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Strategy**:

- Make informed decisions on investment strategies based on cash and liquidity needs.
- Participate in key decisions and negotiations related to acquisitions impacting Codit.
- Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO, the Board of Directors, and members of the Senior Leadership Team at Codit and Proximus ICT.
- Collaborate with the CEO, the Board of Directors, and Proximus Legal to review and approve Codit's financial reports and management discussion and analysis.

**2. Leadership**:

- Participate in key decisions as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the leadership team.
- Represent Codit & Proximus (ICT) in a way that maintains and enhances their reputation.
- Provide leadership, direction and management of the local finance and accounting team.
- Manage any third parties to which finance has been outsourced.

**3. Controls**:

- Establish, coordinate, and evaluate financial controls, including supporting financial IT systems.
- Ensure the correctness of Codit's insurance coverage.
- Approve and coordinate changes and improvements to disclosure controls, procedures, and internal control over financial reporting.
- Establish and enhance internal control systems within the organization.
- Keep the Board informed about the financial position and development of the Corporation.
- Develop key performance indicators to monitor and drive the financial performance of the Corporation.
- Provide proper training for personnel working on financial, accounting, audit, or fiscal matters.
- Monitor Codit's financial position, banking and financing activities, and capital.
- Identify, assess, and manage the principal risks of Codit's business.
- Coordinate the work of auditors, including the annual audit, and collaborate transparently with them to investigate findings and recommendations.
- Oversee the mandate and the work of the auditors; coordinate the annual audit (and any special or non-recurring audit)

**4. Operations**:

- Together with the finance team, prepare reliable current and forecasting reports.
- Coordinate the preparation of Codit's financial statements, management discussion and analysis (annual and interim).
- Ensure appropriate cash flow for the organization's operations.
- Collaborate with Proximus to oversee and monitor effective tax strategies and compliance.
- Maintain strong relationships with the management team and actively participate in key decisions related to accounting, controlling, payroll, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury (impacting Codit).
- Oversee financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.
- Manage and optimize the company's transaction processing systems.
- Direct treasury, budgeting, tax, accounting, purchasing, controlling, audit, forecasting, and insurance activities within the organization.

Profile
- Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong progressive experience in accountancy, controlling, and tax.
- 10-15 years of financial management experience, including people management, preferably within an international environment.
- Solid knowledge of finance and tax, with a broad understanding of the business.
- Experience in leading and managing a team.
- Proven ability to partner with an executive team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both finance professionals and non-specialists.
- Deep knowledge of financial analysis and reporting technologies and software.
- Fluent in English (Dutch and French are a strong plus).
