**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The Test Lead/Manager organizes and leads the team of Test Engineers and oversees the quality of the products developed & released. The role include bringing on ideas and solutions for improving the quality as we further scale up.
- Your overall responsibilities will include:
- People Management responsibilities for the team of Manual and Automation Test Engineers (hiring, performance review, development etc).
- Contact point for insourced Test Engineers
- Capacity Planning for Test Engineers within assigned Squads
- Collaboration with Release Management and Product Management on release validation
- Overseeing manual testing debt reduction process in the assigned Squad
- Overseeing the execution of test batches for the components in scope
- Supporting UAT/Regression phase execution for release validation
- Design and implementation of Test Strategy/Approach in the assigned Squads
- Identification and development of relevant metrics
- Supporting Test Engineering Leadership on Test Strategy and continuous improvement
- Identifying, documenting and tracking issues
- Supporting continuous integration process and driving your Squads towards continuous testing
- Working closely with Developers, Test Engineers and Product Managers to understand the context and drive automation and testing to meet objectives
- Promoting testing best practices (e.g. shift-left approach) within the organization and provide guidance and assistance to enable developers to test
**SKILLS NEEDED**:
- Proven track record in Software Testing - minimum 5 years of experience
- Assertive with the ability to take ownership of the job and to work autonomously
- Flexible and able to cope with an ever-changing, dynamic and exciting environment
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Open-minded, team player
- Strong analytical problem solving-skills, attention to detail, ability to think out of the box
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to identify flaws in the testing process, toolset, infrastructure and to propose and drive necessary improvements
- Customer-centric with a proactive attitude
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Masters degree (Business or IT) or equivalent through experience in a related role
- At least 1 year of experience in Test Lead/Manager role
- Experience with SaaS in a B2B heavily regulated environment (telco, banking, pharma)
- Experience in Scrum/Kanban methodologies
- Familiarity with Test Process documentation (Strategy, Approach, Plan)
- Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written
