Our client is a leading project developer with a remarkable portfolio in mixed-use residential projects and student real estate.

The scope of **responsibilities** for this job include:
Financial Records Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Record financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, sales revenue, and payments.
- Organize and manage financial documents and supporting records.

Reconciliations and Analysis:

- Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records.
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Compliance and Regulation:

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance reporting.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

Auditing:

- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and information.
- Participate in audit procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Report to our Finance Manager, fostering open communication and collaboration.

The **requested qualifications** for this job include:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Dynamics Navision) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Fluent Dutch speaking skills with proficiency in English (knowledge of French is a major additional asset).
- Interest in working in a close-knit team environment.
