The Product Owner Lead is responsible for maximizing the value creation for the customer (current and future) by defining, developing, and prioritizing the deliverables and enablers of the backlog of his squad team to achieve the product objectives.

He/she aligns the product, the services and business model with the customer needs, while collaborating and contributing to a successful squad team.

The role of the Product Owner Lead is part of the Proximus Leadership Team.

**The Banx Challenge**

Banx is a neobank resulting from a commercial partnership between Belfius & Proximus. Banx is simple, smart and durable. It is a digital-only banking app that focuses on basic everyday banking needs such as a checking account, credit card, easy online payments alone or with friend.

As PO Lead, you will lead Banx's growth strategy. You will work for a small dynamic start-up that can rely on the weight and skills of 2 large groups such as Proximus & Belfius. Your team consists partly of Proximus and partly of Belfius resources. You work closely with your Belfius counterpart to make Banx a success together. Your most important objectives entail:

- Reinforce the value proposition
- Attract new customers - during which Proximus' customer base should certainly be seen as an important accelerator
- Improve the customer onboarding flow (conversion)
- Creation of ONE team mindset with mixed Proximus & Belfius resources

**Responsibilities**

Focus on value creation, growth and customer service for one or more products:

- Develop the vision of the product(s) owned and synchronize it with the Tribe Lead and other relevant POs
- Define the "Minimum Viable Product" taking resource constraints into account
- Maximize the value of the product/service through its development and implementation
- Maintain the expected level of quality throughout the process based on the pre-defined acceptance criteria
- Ensure that risks and compliance aspects are identified and managed

Set goals and work priorities for the squad:

- Build the backlog of the squad in terms of "user stories", set priorities to achieve the objectives and continuously keep the backlog up to date
- Facilitate team meetings to update the product backlog and to ensure a common understanding
- Interact with other squads and Tribes through ceremonies to support inter-squad tasks and break down silos

Empower the squad/team:

- Participate in regular meetings with the chapter lead, the agile coach and the scrum master to evaluate the team's performance
- Create an atmosphere of trust to stimulate experimentation, learning and motivation to achieve goals
- Define the skills and product/domain expertise needed to form a successful team
