**Job description**
- To sustain our constant growth, our organisation is currently looking for a Financial Controller. As Financial Controller, you will be an important part of the foundation of our existing and future success. Are you up to the challenge? Your permanent workplace is Ostend, just a few metres from the beach. - one day will never be the other but this is already a sample of the main tasks:
- Understanding the business and managing corporate and financial reporting;
- Support and promote business strategy;
- Develop, support and propagate the planning, budgeting and forecasting process;
- Harmonise financial and administrative procedures across countries and business units;
- Set up, implement and manage a control environment;
- Preparation and follow-up of ad hoc (financial) analyses for management (CEO/CFO/COO);
- Working closely with the accounting manager:
- Oversee the company's financial activities (payroll, billing, A/P, A/R, treasury);
- Supporting monthly closing and reporting.

- Initial experience in an audit role preferably within a big 4 firm is a definite plus
- You have a master's degree in finance, or equivalent through experience
- You can always work hands-on, driven and goal-oriented;
- You can communicate very well; you can do this in Dutch, French and English (orally + in writing);
- You can think pragmatically and in a solution-oriented way;
- Willingness to undertake in-service training;
- You are a team-player who can work very well with your team but you are equally capable of working independently.
