Logistics Supervisor

**Rosier S.A., located in Moustier (BE), is a producer of fertilizers and is part of the fertilizer branch and part of Yilfert Holding. The production plant has more than 100 employees specialized in the production of fertilizers, "tailored" for the customer. The products are sold through agricultural cooperatives and fertilizer trade around the world**.

**Logistic Supervisor**

**Role Purpose**:
Essentially oversees the shipping and delivery of materials and warehouse personnel. They mainly work in warehouse settings and for retailers and wholesalers and are involved in managing the loading of trucks, setting up delivery routes and unloading of material.

**Area of responsibility**

**Contribution**:

- Manage and coordinate the organization, staffing, and operational activities for district warehouses and stores
- Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the organization
- Direct and review work plan for assigned staff
- Implement appropriate safety guidelines and investigate injuries or unsafe conditions
- Monitor storeroom and warehouse material usage
- Provide assistance in warehouse space utilization by designing facility layouts to achieve maximum storage efficiency
- Develop delivery schedules and drop shipment strategies
- Maintain accurate records and files of inventory usage
- Meet with staff to identify and resolve problems
- Select, train, motivate, and evaluate assigned personnel
- Implement discipline and termination procedures
- Prepare and present staff reports and other correspondence as appropriate and necessary
- Assist with budget preparation and administration
- Coordinate warehousing and storeroom activities with outside agencies and organizations
- Discover new trends and innovations in the fields of warehousing and storage programs.

**Skills**:
**Education**
- a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or industrial engineering
- Native speaker for main customer market areas (FR and EN/NL)
- Good written and verbal command of English
- Experience of handling ERP, preferably SAP and standard office software

**Experience**
- 2+ years relevant marketing, sales, business or supply chain experience

**Salary**: €3,000.00 - €4,000.00 per month
