For the Industry Decorative Panels sales team of our Panels division we are looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager responsible for the DACH and Italian market.

**YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Within Unilin Panels, the Industry Decorative Panels segment deals with important key accounts mainly active in the kitchen, bathroom, office furniture, wall-cladding and mobile home industry.
In this role you will take responsibility for the development of profitable sales of melamine boards and HPL, by creating strong long-term partnerships with new customers in the region, mainly in the kitchen and bathroom industry. Launching and promoting Master Oak, a new, revolutionary surface finish & design, will be one of your biggest challenges.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- You translate sales objectives set by the management team into clearly defined objectives specific to DACH and Italy in order to ensure that the commercial goals are realized, and to expand the organization’s market share in the region.
- You increase sales in added-value products while building loyalty and trust to develop and continue long-term partnerships.
- You achieve the desired targets including (added-value) turnover, volume and profit margins.
- You organize regular visits to customers and prospects where you actively promote our decorative collections and innovative products.
- You participate in exhibiting and visiting fairs to increase brand awareness in the market.
- You cooperate closely with the specification team to win and manage new projects throughout the whole region.
- You map out market evolutions, actions and market position of the competition through your direct customer contacts and network and you anticipate on commercial opportunities
- You are constantly looking for new opportunities in cooperation with other departments (supply chain, product development, marketing, etc.) in order to help us become the preferred supplier for our customers.
- You monitor competitors’ activities, identify opportunities and initiate & follow-up actions when required.

**PROFILE**:

- You are fluent in Italian and English.
- You have a Master's degree preferably in Economics with more than 5 years of (B2B) experience and a successful track record.
- You are an entrepreneur who loves to build new collaborations and who knows where to detect the right opportunities.
- You are flexible and keen to travel 60% of your time.
- You are a fluent communicator with excellent commercial and negotiation skills.
- You can count on a strong network in the kitchen & furniture industry and have affinity with interior design.
- You can work autonomously.
- Knowledge of CRM, Excel and SAP are a plus.
