To strengthen our growing team of engineers and technologists, we are looking for a motivated and talented Technician.

**Main responsibilities**
- Support R&D and facility teams
- Oversee and conduct preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment and as of late 2024, small industrial units
- Build up and manage the stock of critical spare parts
- Interface with sub-contractors - oversee and critically review their work

**Personality**

**Qualifications**
- Intermediate-level position
- Associate degree (Flemish - graduate or bachelor) with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience of troubleshooting different types of laboratory equipment - mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems
- Understanding of good safety practices for equipment and installations, and common technical mitigations
- Fluent in English and Dutch

**Other considerations**
- Results-driven and able to deliver quality output within tight deadlines
- Able to thrive in a high-tech start up environment where teamwork is key
- Strong analytical mind and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and as a team member
- Good communication skills.
- Flexible and able to respond to rapidly changing (technological/technical) circumstances
- Based in Belgium or willing to relocate
