As a **Senior Production Specialist**, at the Equipment Processing Center in Zeebrugge, you will play a vital role in driving operational efficiencies & processes for a growing number of machines prepped in one of our 4 EAME facilities for shipment to our customers. You will be responsible for the work-order management, execution of an efficient capacity plan and performance management in close collaboration with our service providers while interacting on a daily base with Order Management, Supply Chain, Quality and Transport teams using Lean methodologies.

**Key Job functions include but are not limited to**:

- Workflow management and production sequence scheduling at the Equipment Processing Center (EPC)
- Establish capacity planning processes and manage changes to the business supported by key metrics.
- Capacity planning management for daily, weekly and periodic production plans with 3PL
- Set up & closely monitor performance management processes along with driving continuous improvements.
- Close communication and collaboration with Service Providers (3PL) and internal business partners for process execution
- Addresses day-to-day 3PL constraints to improve performance and ability to respond to Caterpillar requirements flexibly and rapidly.
- Use data, reporting and lean process thinking to identify areas for process improvement and process control.
- Shipping floor management in close collaboration with outbound transport team
- Implement and support various corporate initiatives such as, BIQ, 5S, Lean, 6 Sigma and sustainability

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor/Master degree preferably in Logistics or Supply chain, Engineering, and/or min 5 years of prior operational experience in warehouse or production environment
- Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Customer focus driven with the ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams
- Lean, 6-Sigma experience
- Languages: English, Dutch (both written and verbal)
