Eurogentec is an internationally successful biotechnology supplier, based in Belgium (Liège area), that specializes in genomics and proteomics kits and reagents as well as cGMP biologics. The company was founded in 1985 as a spin-off from the University of Liège. For the Eurogentec Group, we are hiring a new colleague (M/F/x) for the position of:
**Facility Coordinator**

This position, which includes a mix of hands-on technical duties and rigorous administration, fits into the Technical Support & Services division, together with Technical Services (maintenance of the manufacturing equipment), IT, HSE and Corporate Projects. The division’s mission is “to enable and support safe technical operations everyday across the company”.

- Daily management for supporting smooth office operations of Eurogentec’s facilities.
- Contract management for utilities (electricity, gas, water) and related activities (load balancing linked to solar panels, local energy community).
- Contract management for external maintenance services not relating to manufacturing processes (office HVAC, office cleaning, green spaces and surroundings )
- Managing the budget and catalog for standard office furniture (desks, chairs, tables, cabinets ) and common areas (cafeterias, kitchenettes, coffee corners )
- In charge of the access control, pest control and fire detection systems (and underlying contracts).
- Handling daily requests or complaints related to office work or environment.
- Develop and maintain adequate internal policies related to facilities, parkings, common areas (cafeterias, coffee corners, etc.)
- Ensuring smooth operations between external maintenance services and our internal teams in charge of maintenance or modifications of the manufacturing equipment.
- Support to HR for management of the EV/PHEV fleet charging system.
- Maintaining building plans and office space allocations.
- Directly reporting to the Head of Technical Support & Services.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor in electromechanics or similar technical background acquired by experience.
- Wide technical knowledge related to facility maintenance, ideally in biotech or similar technically challenging environment.
- Excellent administration skills.
- Proven experience for managing external contractors, and related contracts and budget.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in both French and English, and able to flexibly adapt his/her communication also to non-technical audience.
- Safety-driven, with special attention to external service providers.
- At ease with Office365, SAP, BMS and CAD-like software.
