Ga voor een uitdagende job als Project manager HIRUZ (voltijds jaarcontract met kans op verlenging)

**Functieomschrijving**:
Je werkt als project manager binnen de Clinical Trial Unit van het Health, Innovation and Research Institute (HIRUZ CTU) van UZ Gent.
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het opzetten, opstarten en managen van verschillende klinische studies, zowel nationaal als internationaal. Daarbij ga je in overleg met verschillende interne en externe stakeholders, zoals o.a. onderzoeksgroepen, onderzoekers, financieringskanalen, etc.
- Je fungeert als primair contactpunt voor deze projecten en neemt hierin een leidende rol, in nauw contact met de hoofdonderzoekers.
- Je staat hierbij ook mee in voor de delegatie van de verschillende taken en verantwoordelijkheden binnen de projecten bij de betrokken partijen en draagt bij tot de risicoanalyse van het project (risk assessment plan).
- Je stelt budgetvoorstellen op en onderhandelt hierover met de relevante partijen. Deze budgetten worden verder opgevolgd tijdens de projecten / studie(s).
- Je staat mee in voor de opmaak en opvolging van alle nodige contracten met alle verschillende partijen, in samenwerking met de HIRUZ Contract Unit.
- In samenwerking met de coördinerende onderzoeksgroep zorg je voor de opmaak van documenten, indiening (Commissie Medische Ethiek / FAGG) en goedkeuring van de projecten zodat deze tijdig kunnen opstarten.
- Je volgt de lopende projecten actief op en stuurt bij waar nodig.
- Je houdt alle relevante stakeholders op de hoogte van de vooruitgang en organiseert verschillende meetings om het algemeen overzicht over de studie te bewaren (vb: trial steering committee, investigator meetings, etc ).
- Je zorgt voor de nodige rapportering naar stakeholders en officiële instanties (Commissie Medische Ethiek, FAGG, funders ).
- Je bent het aanspreekpunt bij veiligheids
- en kwaliteitsgerelateerde issues.
- Je zorgt voor frequente opvolgmomenten binnen het HIRUZ team dat aan het project werkt (vb. data management, monitor / CRA,).
- Verder zorg je ervoor dat je up to date blijft met alle relevante wetgeving en volgt hiervoor bijscholing waar nodig.
- Je draagt bij aan het profileren van HIRUZ als expertisecentrum voor wetenschappelijk onderzoek door een goede band te onderhouden met onderzoekers en externe partijen in het academisch en commercieel wetenschappelijk landschap.
- Je vertegenwoordigt HIRUZ op interne/externe meetings waar nodig.
- Je werkt nauw samen met de verschillende medewerkers binnen HIRUZ om op die manier een zo efficiënt en correct mogelijk advies en bijhorende dienstverlening te kunnen garanderen.
- Je bouwt gaandeweg een specifieke expertise op binnen een bepaald domein in het onderzoekslandschap.

**Gewenst profiel**:

- Je beschikt bij voorkeur over een master diploma in de medische wetenschappen en je kan relevante werkervaring in een gelijkaardige functie voorleggen.
- Je hebt kennis van project management.
- Ervaring met klinische studies is vereist, ervaring in medical device
- en geneesmiddelenonderzoek is wenselijk. Achtergrond/kennis ivm. het relevante (inter)nationale wet
- en regelgevend kader - de Europese Medical Device Regulation (MDR), In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Device Regulation (IVDR) en Clinical Trial Regulation (CTR), vormt zeker een meerwaarde.
- Je werkt vlot met MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
- Een degelijke kennis van Engels en Frans is belangrijk.
- Je erkent de 3 kernwaarden van het UZ Gent: integer, respectvol en verantwoordelijk.
- Je werkt minutieus, correct en met oog voor detail volgens bestaande procedures en afspraken. Je toont een kritische ingesteldheid.
- Je bent een goede teamspeler met verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel.
- Je kan je taken goed plannen en organiseren en je kan omgaan met strikte tijdslijnen.
- Je kan werken onder tijdsdruk en prioriteiten stellen.
- Je beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden en bent voldoende assertief.
- Je hebt een groot probleemoplossend vermogen.

**Salarisschaal**
Je krijgt een aantrekkelijke verloning volgens IFIC, afgestemd op je functie en de toegekende relevante anciënniteit.
