**Scientist / Sr Scientist - Process Evaluation - Rixensart, Belgium - 12 month FTC**

Within our Analytical Services team, we have a functional service provider solution, which is a unique partnership that allows our customers to use the experience of our staff, while allowing you, the employee, to gain direct experience working onsite at a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical company, all while maintaining full-time benefits.

This role will work fully on-site with our client in Rixensart, Belgium. This is an initial 12 month FTC with possibility for extension.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform fill and finish process evaluations of potential mRNA-based vaccines
- Work in a development lab and perform experiments related to the Total Liquid Time process evaluations, filtration process evaluations and filling and container process evaluation for potential new mRNA-based vaccines
- Organizing the workload taking account the material, the equipment and sample analysis
- Use of the electronic batch record system for documentation
- Write protocols and reports, present methology and results
- Participate to lab housekeeping.

Qualifications/Experience

Basic Qualifications:

- MSc in Chemical engineering, Bio-engineering or related discipline, PhD is desirable
- Previous proven relevant experience in academy or industry.
- Experience in product/process development and/or fill and finish operations (mixing, filtration, filling, drying)
- Previous experience of working in laboratory is essential
- Understanding of the main data integrity concepts/tools (e.g., batch records) is essential
- Knowledge of mRNA
- Fluency in English, French is beneficial
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Proactive and stress-resistant with good team spirit
