**What You'll Do**:

- Develop and execute sourcing plans for the assigned raw material portfolio, including contract negotiations, managing supplier relations, database management, and market analyses.
- Create and maintain solid and reliable sourcing strategies, ensuring competitive advantages for Lubrizol in the long term.
- Demonstrate an understanding of supply chain economics to enhance our competitive position in the market.
- Stay up-to-date with upstream markets, leveraging your insights to bring value and opportunities to the company.
- Drive cost-savings/avoidance projects in line with regional procurement objectives and implement innovative solutions to improve supplier quality, safety, delivery, pricing, and lead-times.
- Continuously evaluate supplier performance and understand their strengths and weaknesses to influence the market.
- Maintain alignment with global and regional procurement projects, priorities, and deliverables to ensure seamless coordination.
- Assure security of supply and represent Lubrizol in a professional, legal, and ethical manner, maintaining the integrity and reputation of the brand.
- Chair programs to support various reporting requirements such as procurement, finance, accountancy auditing, and compliance.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, supply chain, logistics, finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or other technical field.
- At least five years of experience in a similar role, if in the chemical industry even better
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems (SAP and BW or Business Objects knowledge or equivalent).

- Excellent networking skills and the ability to influence others.
- Track record of driving continuous improvements in procurement operations.
- Experience in maintaining purchasing records in SAP or other electronic forms.
