Technical Superintendant Offshore

Als Technical Superintendent Offshore werk je als onderdeel van een van de scheepsteams, waar je verantwoordelijk bent voor de coördinatie van onderhouds
- en reparatiewerkzaamheden aan toegewezen schip(pen) en/of de bijbehorende apparatuur of andere assets. Je hoofdbasis is ons HQ in België of het kantoor in Breda, Nederland.
Door de uitdagende omgeving waarin je te maken hebt met zwaar materieel, complexe installaties en projectdeadlines, is er een steile leercurve op verschillende technische gebieden.
Jouw verantwoordelijkheden
- Ervoor zorgen dat veiligheid de hoogste prioriteit heeft bij alle scheepsoperaties;
- Verantwoordelijk zijn voor het dagelijkse scheepsmanagement van toegewezen schip(pen)
- Ten allen tijde zorgen voor tijdige en voldoende ondersteuning van schepen bij alle operationele en technische zaken
- Bezoeken van schepen en opstellen van inspectierapporten over vaartuig(en) onder verantwoordelijkheid;
- Verantwoordelijk zijn voor de planning, coördinatie en follow-up van het onderhoud en de reparatie van de schepen tijdens de mobilisatie en demobilisatie van het project
- Betrokken zijn bij financiële begrotingen en kostencontrole voor technische aangelegenheden op het/de toegewezen vaartuig(en)
- ervoor zorgen dat alle relevante internationale en lokale voorschriften worden nageleefd en dat alle vaartuigcertificaten en onderzoeken voor klasse, vlag en internationale vereisten worden gehandhaafd;
- Nauwe samenwerking met Project Management waar het toegewezen schip wordt ingezet.
- Afgestudeerd als Industrieel of Burgerlijk Ingenieur, bij voorkeur met een specialisatie in (elektro)mechanica of gelijkwaardig door ervaring;
- Brede waaier aan vaardigheden: zowel harde technische vaardigheden als zachte vaardigheden zoals people management zijn vereist om goed te presteren als sleutelfiguur tussen hoofdkantoor / project / scheepsbemanning;
- Je kan jezelf vloeiend kunnen uitdrukken in het Engels. Kennis van andere talen is een pluspunt;
- Probleemoplosser en in staat zelfstandig te werken;
- Je bent bereid voor langere tijd op een van de overzeese locaties te werken;
