Then we are looking for you to join our Commercial team in Hasselt.
**About the role**:
- You can independently manage files from A to Z, within the niche of commercial law contracts such as distribution, commercial agency, franchising, collaboration agreements, license agreements, NDAs.
- You work for a broad spectrum of clients (promising and innovative start-ups, (family) businesses and multinationals) in very diverse sectors. You advise them on applicable regulations and negotiate and draft contracts.
- Our commercial team within Monard Law is a dynamic practice group where ideas can be shared and know-how can be exchanged. As an associate you can count on the expertise and guidance of motivated partners and senior associates, but you will also manage younger associates within the team and contribute to their development.
- At Monard Law everyone in the team deserves a place. Do you want to grow, specialize further, learn how to manage or do you want challenging legal work but still have a manageable agenda? It’s all possible.
- Your workplace will be our Hasselt office, but in addition you will have regular contacts with colleagues from other offices. You can also, if desired, work a number of days from home.
**The profile**:
- 4-5 years of relevant experience within commercial contract drafting, preferably with a larger firm or a niche firm;
- Good knowledge of English is required, good knowledge of French is an asset;
- Team player, entrepreneurial, solution-oriented and pragmatic;
- Sense of humor and a healthy dose of relatability is a plus.
**Location**:
Your workplace will be our Hasselt office, but in addition you will have regular contacts with colleagues from other offices. You can also, if desired, work a number of days from home.
