**About the job**: The Product Expert Manager is focusing on the development and the collaboration of the Product Expert Teams ( 5 people) in-depth knowledge and expertise in a specific product category (Device / Cloud/ PS).
In close collaboration with the Product Manager, his teams' members transform markets needs into technical requirements. The Product Expert Manager is responsible of the internal relationship (R&D, Supply,.) needed to develop, support and improve our clients' product line.The Product Expert Manager reports to the Product & Marketing Director.
Among others, the Product Expert Manager:
- Applies Product Portfolio Strategy for coming 3 years, focusing on internal relationship to maintain, improve or develop the Product Portfolio.
- Understands, does research, and follows technical trends in the industry and in general.
- Prioritizes and separates hype from real added value
- Transfers market need provided by the Product Manager to the R&D Team by ensuring requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
- Drives changes to our product and processes to create improvement
- Collaborates well with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality and operations.
- You hold a Masters’ degree or equivalent by experience and you have at least 5 years experience in the field.
- You have experience in product management in a high technology focused company or in an Industrial Automation technology company.
- You possess exceptional **problem-solving skills**, a high level of **adaptability**, and a strong **ability to prioritize**, **plan**, and **organize tasks effectively**.
- You have strong technical knowledge.
- You speak French and English fluently.
