**Purpose of the role**:
The accountant will integrate a multicultural and multinational team with people being based in Netherlands, Belgium and France, handling entities registered in Netherlands, Belgium, France and Switzerland.
The accountant will be in charge of maintaining the general accounting of 6 different Dutch Holding entities, from recording the entries to preparing the Financial statements. As a support to the accounting manager, the accountant will be in charge of preparing several reports, including VAT declarations.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- **In charge of the general accounting for 6 entities (holdings)**
- Record the monthly entries in the accounting system (EASI)
- Report the monthly accounts into the group consolidation tool (HFM)
- Prepare the monthly reconciliations
- Prepare the yearly Financial statements
- **Transverse support (including 2 other dutch entities)**
- Perform VAT declarations
- Prepare external reportings (CBS, Dutch national bank,)
- Provide support on the monthly accruals review and on the inter company reconciliations for another dutch entity
- Support any ad hoc request
- **Signing bonus management**
- Review the signing bonus accounts and determine adjustments entries to be recorded
- Interact with different teams (Account manager, FP&A) during the review

**Experience & education**:
- **Experience**
- Degree in accounting
- 2 to 5 years experience in accounting, ideally in a multinational company
- **Languages**
- English fluent
- Dutch fluent
- Knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs)
- Communication skills
- Adaptability to an international environment
- Analytical skills (signing bonus)
- Flexibility to handle a non routine agenda
