MISSIONS
- Ensure that the defined control and monitoring are being followed
- Support the development team, following the plan and activities defined
- Work in collaboration with the other departments, Core Team and Extended Team
- Reporting in case of any irregularity found
- Implement and deploy the Quality Mindset
- Being proactive / committed and involved with Quality Activities

ACTIVITIES

Performing dimensional control of products under develoment, according orientations (inputs) from 2D/3D (Product Specification) and following GD&T Standard;
- Reporting immediately in case of any irregularety found to the Core Team;
- Responsible for performing SPC (Statistical Process Control);
- Responsible for performing MSA studies to validate the equipments and means of control;
- Keeping Quality equipment/tooling/workplace in good condition, cleaned and organized;
- Responsible for purchasing new equipment/tooling for measurements and tests;
- Responsible for planning the Metrology events/activities;
- Responsible for elaborating the Trial Synthesis during trials (with Project Quality Engineer supports) clear and objective, aiming understading of Core Team;
- Informing the Core Team all critical points and NC detected (and propose improvements when possible/applied);
- Responsible for segregating and identification of products NC during development;
- Authority to stop the production (or any other process) in order to ensure the conformity of product (and avoid parts NC to the customer or any other process) aiming Total Quality;
- Defining Action plan (corrective and preventive) and Follow up of actions plans created during Trials/production or any other scope defined by manager;
- Being based in Genk (BE) but supporting also Herentals;
- Propose Improvements for the processes and products.

**Profiel**: PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

Background
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Quality, Chemical or similar), Quality Technologist/Technician
- 2-3 years’ experience in Automotive (or relevant industry)
- Experience in the role or areas of Quality Support

Competences
- GD&T knowledges / experience
- Quality standards (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001) and CSR
- Technical skills using measurements equipment and their interpretation
- Master pack Office
- English (fluent) proficiencies / Dutch (Flemish) is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with other functional areas and suppliers
- Having adaptability on multicultural and cross-departmental relations and team spirits
- Complete multiple activities concurrently
- Having innovation and openness to change
