**Functie: Junior Technical Packaging Designer**

**Functieomschrijving**:
Als Junior Technical Packaging Designer vertaal je ideeën en ontwerpen die door de commerciële afdeling met de klant besproken werden naar technische tekeningen. Denk hierbij aan schuiminterieurs en robuuste koffers om gevoelige apparatuur te beschermen en dat voor diverse markten zoals de defensie-, industrie
- en evenementensector.

In de ontwerp & preproductie afdeling speel je een sleutelrol bij het omzetten van ideeën en schetsen naar technisch tekeningen en werkinstructies, in lijn met specificaties, optimalisaties en kwaliteitsnormen. Enerzijds maak je een voorontwerp voor de klant en anderzijds bereid je de volledige productie voor met tekeningen, werkinstructies, stuklijsten en machine programma’s.

Je koppelt de mogelijkheden uit ons productieatelier aan je eigen creativiteit, technische aanleg en oplossingsgerichtheid. Dankzij de korte doorlooptijd tussen het ontwerp en de eigen productie zie je snel resultaten van hetgeen je uitgewerkt hebt.

Je rapporteert aan de verantwoordelijke van de ontwerp & preproductie-afdeling.

**Verantwoordelijkheden**:

- Maken van technische tekeningen met behulp van CAD-software (Bricscad) voor 2D- en 3D-modellering.
- Interpreteren van ontwerp
- en productspecificaties, en overleggen met het commerciële team.
- Leveren van productieklare tekeningen met de juiste maatvoering en instructies.
- Aanmaken van programma’s voor CNC gestuurde machines.
- Je werkvoorbereiding ondersteunt de productie afdeling bij het maken van de verpakkingsoplossing.
- Uitvoeren van revisies en wijzigingen op basis van feedback.
- Uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroles op tekeningen en bijhouden van documentatie.

**Kwalificaties**:

- Ervaring met CAD-software (bij voorkeur AutoCAD / Bricscad) en 3D-modelleringstools.
- Ervaring met CAD/CAM systemen is een pluspunt maar geen vereiste.
- Grondige kennis en achtergrond van technische tekenen en ontwerpen in functie van de productie.
- Sterke analytische vaardigheden en oog voor detail.
- Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om effectief samen te werken met multidisciplinaire teams.
