Context
At Degroof Petercam Asset Management (DPAM) our digital ambitions have grown over the years. Today, we are defining our digital roadmap towards our digital service model. As we are heavily investing in our processes and technology, our Technology & Operations team is looking for a Business Analyst with a focus on our Customer Relationship Management tool (Microsoft Dynamics) and Value Chain Management. Together with your teammates, you will analyze the business needs and translate these into requirements and support our mission to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Your Position
Business Analyst & Value Chain Management
Business Analysis
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements: structuring needs, analyzing them from a functional standpoint, and formulating various possible scenarios; translating them into business requirements.
- Collaborate with IT teams: Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories, in a first phase, focusing on DPAM’s CRM (Microsoft Dynamics).
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements documents, process flows, and user manuals.
Value chain analysis and improvement
- Work closely with different departments, including portfolio management, compliance, and operations, to understand their processes and pain points.
- Create clear and comprehensive visualizations of end-to-end processes within the asset management value chain.
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement through process mapping.
- Define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Implement a system for monitoring and reporting on KPIs regularly.
- Conduct regular reviews of existing workflows to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Propose changes to improve efficiency, measure and reduce costs, and enhance overall performance in the asset management value chain.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to streamline processes and improve communication.

Your Profile
- A bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, operations management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of CRM (preferably Microsoft Dynamics), including customization capabilities and integration options. Understanding of CRM development processes and technologies.
- Proven experience in process optimization and workflow management, preferably within the financial or asset management industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address inefficiencies in processes.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with different stakeholders and effectively convey complex ideas in English, Dutch and/or French.
- Project minded: to oversee the implementation of process improvements and technology solutions.
- Team player, challenger, and a positive mindset.
