About the team

FIS Open Test Solutions (OTS) is looking for a test engineer for one of its major customer and project. You will be part of a team within the certification department.

What you will be doing
- Create and maintain processes of the quality program
- Provide consulting for software development or operations processes
- Quality practices
- Quality audits and software measurements.
- Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
- Controls and manages own daily test activities.
- Provides internal quality assurance.
- Supports and identify risks and develops mitigation strategies.
- Organizes and maintains the test script library.
- Participate in and facilitate customer/product requirements meetings and work together with the customer/Product department towards the most optimal functional solution
- Provide clarifications and support to the Test team during test scenario derivation and testing processes
- Deliver functional training to the customer and colleagues

What you bring:

- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience in computer engineering and Software testing.
- Knowledge of methods, tools and technology used in software testing
- Some experience in Business analysis
- You'll be the single point of contact for client building testing schemes
- Knowledge of primary database engines with a demonstrated ability to write complex queries to be used for data validation and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of object-oriented development tools, techniques and principles with expertise in at least one object-oriented language
- Skill in understanding and focusing on the client needs
- Skill in analysis, solid decision-making and problem solving
- Ability to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded
- Ability to deliver results under pressure
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and team-building skills working with technical and non-technical individuals
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, vendors and public
- Added value if you have
- Knowledge of open payment Framework or payments technology
