**Function**:
The Works Engineer assists the Project Manager who is involved in one or more construction projects, depending on their size and complexity.

He/she assists the final manager in the execution of a large project or several medium-sized projects (average of 2 to 50 million Euro per project).

Type of work:

- structural work
- industrial and office buildings
- industrial engineering
- no single-family houses or road works.

He/she will assist in the supervision, in close collaboration with the Works Manager, of the execution and all technical aspects of the project and ensure the financial profitability of the project.

General responsibilities:

- Organisation and management of the project (as soon as the complete file is submitted by the Tender Department)
- The Works Engineer or Assistant Works Engineer can propose the means and methods of execution, as well as the subcontractors and suppliers he intends to use.
- Customer relations and contractual follow-upFinancial and budgetary control, in partnership with the Management Controller
- General long term planning of the worksManagement of production, yields, control and coordination of subcontractors and own teams
- Implementation of quality (ISO), safety or environmental procedures
- Relations with local authorities
- All other tasks for which he/she has final responsibility.

The Works Engineer reports to the site Project Manager.

**Profile**:

- Master, Industrial Engineer, Civil Construction Engineer (or Civil Architectural Engineer).
- A first experience in a similar function or you have just graduated and you are eager to learn?
- Strategic vision and business sense.
- Able to develop and maintain high level business relationships.
- Convincing and communicative.
- Managerial skills, negotiation skills.
