About the Role
The team you will be joining is composed of data scientists and product managers working in the Data and Analytics Tribe.
The location is at the Swift headquarters in La Hulpe, BE. Physical presence in the office is expected.
Mission Alignment
- Lead the exploration of future data products
- Interface with business stakeholders and Data Science teams to provide solutions and advice on data infrastructure needs, data science approaches while guaranteeing their security and compliance.
- Present outcomes and directions to business and engineering teams
Behavioural Traits
- Can-do attitude and the ability to react quickly to identified opportunities
- Communication skills with capability to make innovation happen in a highly regulated environment
- Capability to lead the project from the business opportunity to the working PoC and solution
- Usage of data science approaches to solve complex business situations
Professional knowledge and expertise
- Proven experience in data engineering / data science. Knowledge in business intelligence, data ingestion, data privacy protection, stream processing, statistical analysis, visualization, scalable data analysis frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with AI/data science ecosystem (Python, SQL, data pipelines)
- Interest in macroeconomics related to the financial industry
