YOUR CHALLENGES
As a Customs Compliance Specialist, you coordinate international transport across borders to ensure smooth and cost-efficient transport. To this end, you prepare the necessary customs documents.
What do you do concretely?
- Essentially, you take care of the complete handling of all customs files.
- This means that on the one hand you are responsible for import, transit and export customs files, and on the other hand you guarantee the correct handling of disputes, as well as the follow-up of these disputes from A to Z.
- Preparation of the customs declaration in the systems (PLDA and NCTS) via the software package ‘Stream’ is also part of your versatile tasks.
- You know better than anyone how to maintain contacts with customs clients, customs and operational services.
- You can anticipate and solve any problems.
YOUR TALENTS
- As a Customs Compliance Specialist, you are our clients’ first point of contact regarding their flow of goods. You know how to take care of their customs files like no other.
- With your knowledge of NCTS, PLDA, stream software and customs legislation, you know how to turn our logistics and transport processes into success stories.
- Notion of stock administration and/or invoicing is also a plus. Any knowledge of logistics, supply chain and transport is a plus. You demonstrate a hands-on mentality in which accuracy, customer service and team orientation are highly valued.
- Thanks to your smooth and connecting way of communicating, everyone is well informed and advised on customs formalities.
- As you come into contact with both national and international customers, you are able to speak to them fluently in Dutch and English.
- Thorough knowledge of Office tools, and specifically Excel are necessary. You are in possession of driving license B.
