**About the position: Business Intelligence Analyst**

As a Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) you'll play an important role in making our global Sales teams more efficient and productive. You will partner closely with our Sales leadership to help drive sound business decisions based on data. You will ultimately be the data and analytical backbone for the global Sales organization, where your eventual expertise with their strategy, challenges, tools, and data will evolve you into one of their key strategic advisors.

You'll be part of the Strategy & Business Intelligence team, which has the mandate to support Showpad's overall strategy development and ensure go-to-market teams achieve high impact in executing Showpad's strategy. You will thrive if your skillset and passions span both analytics and strategic thinking, where you have a sharp analytical mindset and love to play with large datasets, spreadsheets, and light automation, yet also like to be in touch with the business side and help influence the strategy.

**Skills and qualifications**:

- What we are looking for_
- 2-3 years of experience in business/revenue operations or as a business analyst, data scientist, consultant, banker
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel with ability to leverage complex functions
- Proficient in a statistical programming language (SQL, Python preferred)
- Data Visualisation Skills (could be through Python, or experience in BI Tooling such as QuickSight, Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience handling complex data analyses with demonstrated ability to navigate large datasets to produce results (checks, cleaning, analysis, summary)
- Ability to understand and methodically solve complex business problems by breaking them down into manageable and addressable components
- Advanced skill in communicating technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences, making clear bridge between data and business insights
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive results and insights independently with limited supervision
- Ability to collaborate with peers inside and outside of team, create champions, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Clear passion for data analytics, tackling difficult problems, and having impact
- Eagerness to learn and develop own skills and to be a coach to others

- Overall: support primarily our global Sales team on data-heavy projects and studies focused across a variety of outcomes, including driving a business recommendation, providing greater performance visibility, reporting to senior stakeholders (Executive, board), or improving data tools and processes
- Respond to requests for support that originate from Sales by first touching base with them to define the problem and then driving analysis to a conclusion
- Initiate ad hoc analyses and formulate the resulting business recommendations to drive proactive change within Sales
- Act as analytical support on broader cross-functional projects led by Project Managers, SBI Director or SBI VP
- Help with end-of-quarter and end-of-year analysis (board meetings, strategy reviews)
- Work with broader team (GTM VPs, RevOps leaders, Project Managers, Analysts) to support cross-functional strategic planning & roadmap
- Coordinate with and support field operations team where needed to ensure reports and dashboards reflect the right data points and that tool and data processes are sound
