**Mission**:
- Referentials team is responsible of creating new securities and issuers.
In addition, the team monitors the data flows to ensure completeness of critical data and data quality in Front and Middle Office systems.
**Responsabilities**:
- Within the Referentials and Pricing team, Candriam is looking for a Data Officer - Referentials & ESG to monitor the ESG raw data update process and anticipate / follow-up activities (eg changes) related to ESG Providers data feeding.
The main ESG-related tasks will be:
- o To lead and monitor the update process by organizing daily meetings with the business
- o to verify and analyse ESG data provided by external ESG providers or calculated by Candriam
- o to manage the override process
- o to document the ESG data catalog and its lineage
Other important tasks include:
- o Being the point of contact for the 5 main external ESG providers
- o Monitoring all ESG data scope and process
- o Understanding ESG data to facilitate communication with other departments within Candriam
- o Developing an automatic and relevant mapping with ESG providers at company level
- o Detecting and checking companies losing their ESG data
- o Work closely with IT teams to ensure the implementation of ESG Data projects
The new joiner will also contribute to Masterfile Securities and issuers activities, ensuring the day-to-day operations and monitoring of critical data flows and data quality in Front and Middle Office systems:
- o Creation of a variety of financial securities (from basic to more complex).
- o Maintenance and control of the main database through the development of VBA Macros and Excel.
- o Screening of the mandatory corporate action and Securities Masterfile Maintenance
- o Implementation of new business data process and controls in collaboration with Front, Middle and Back office
The resource will work closely with ESG team, Front Office, IT department but also with Reporting team and Risk Management.
**Profile**:
Master of Finance, Economy or Statistics.
Experience in Asset Management or Financial Securities.
Mastery in Excel and VBA.
Good analytical mind-set, detail minded, ambitious, communicative, rigorous, team spirit.
