**Your new role**
As our new Consultant - Sustainable cities and regions, You will work continuously with our colleagues in our Strategic Sustainability Consulting division and have access to a global pool of technical expertise in Ramboll Group throughout Europe and worldwide.
We are a fast-growing Strategic Sustainability Consulting division, contributing to expand the services we offer in France and internationally. We are looking for ambitious people with proven experience in climate and/or energy in the EU, including a successful track record in strategy and policy design and analysis, project management and business development.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Designing and coordinating consultancy activities as part of large implementation projects or more targeted studies; to this end, you will plan and execute data collection and evidence gathering activities, stakeholder consultations & management, strategy and planning processes, and analyses spanning multiple sectors and countries
- Building relationships with our clients and stakeholders, maintaining our network of partners and experts
- Identifying and developing new opportunities, by communicating on our activities, monitoring the market, coordinating and drafting proposals
**Your new team**
You will join a dynamic and growing department with a high professional drive and strong team spirit. You will become part of a multidisciplinary team of consultants who provide strategy and policy consultancy to the European institutions and agencies, NGOs, industry associations, investment banks, as well as various national and regional authorities in France and Belgium.
As a Management Consultancy within Ramboll, our projects are often characterised by bridging deep technical expertise and commercial understanding specialising in business and policy advice to stakeholders, especially within our focus domains Energy, Climate, Environment, Infrastructure, Buildings and Sustainable Societies.

These include:
- A Master's degree in political sciences, sustainability, economics and/or business studies
- A least 2 years of relevant work experience in the field of sustainable urban & regional development, including managing projects or assisting project managers
- Knowledge of national and EU programmes, initiatives, tools and funds related to sustainable urban & regional development (Cohesion funds - ERDF, ESF, JTF, LIFE, URBACT, UIA, SUMPs, Net zero cities, Covenant of Mayors, etc.)
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners and other stakeholders, and drive change by taking initiative and demonstrating high motivation
- Experience in delivering projects with multi-disciplinary teams, multiple locations, and several partners
- Experience in city network management is an asset
- Fluent in English and in at least one other European language
