About the Role

Do you want to be a key player at the core of the Financial Transactions space?

The Alliance Gateway and SWIFTNet Link squads are seeking experienced, passionate and highly-skilled software engineers to extend the current teams in Belgium. We are looking for a strong C++ developer with 2 to 5 years of intensive development experience in Windows and Linux environments.

Using an agile mind-set and way of working, we collaborate with our customers to understand their needs and deliver trail-blazing solutions through DevOps practices using the latest reliable and secure industry-standard technologies. You will have a unique opportunity to expand your reach in term of knowledge and network, and to build your expertise through SWIFT's global platform.

What to expect
- You will design, develop, test and integrate new features, components and improvements to our SwiftNet connectivity solutions
- You will use a range of proven technologies (C++, PKI, Java) with lots of room for experimentation to bring true value to our customers.
- You will have the opportunity to develop yourself and others in a true BizDevOps agile environment; covering software architecture, development, quality assurance, security, operations and IT infrastructure aspects.
- You will work in a truly international environment with main hubs across three continents. Although we are a relatively small company (3000 employees), we have global reach and operate fast.

Education
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a C++ developer

Technical skills & knowledge
- Extensive knowledge of C++ & STL
- Extensive knowledge of memory management, multi-processing, multithreading, clustering
- Knowledge of the security aspects in software design and development
- Knowledge of Windows, UNIX (AIX) and Linux operating systems (Red Hat)
- Knowledge of Git, CMake, Conan
- Notions of security technologies (PKI, TLS )
- Knowledge of Java is a plus
- Troubleshooting skills (with GDB & DBX) is a plus
