The NIKE, Inc. Supply Chain team is the engine that propels product around the world. Supply Chain experts ensure that every year, almost a billion units of footwear, apparel and equipment arrive at the right place, at the right time. To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accounts, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide - making the impossible happen every single day.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Onze state of the art & duurzame Nike European Logistics Campus (ELC) in Laakdal België is op zoek naar teamgenoten om leiding te geven aan onze operationele teams binnen een van onze 5 distributiecentra. We zijn op zoek naar Team Coaches (Logistics Team Lead) om leiding te geven aan operationele teams van -/+20 medewerkers (in shiften) om de Nike EMEA marktplaats, winkels en online klanten te bedienen.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
De Team Coach, die rapporteert aan de Distribution Manager, heeft een zeer diverse rol zowel met betrekking tot mensen als processen. Geen enkele dag is dezelfde. We splitsen het op in de belangrijkste onderwerpen waar je verantwoordelijk voor bent:
"RUNNING THE DAY 2 DAY OPERATIONS"
Jouw taak is om samen met je team te zorgen dat de orders "op tijd en volledig" worden uitgevoerd. Je komt binnen voor je dagshift en draagt over met je collega's die de nachtshift afwerken. Je begint met een dagelijkse vergadering met het team om de plichten en taken toe te wijzen voor de waardestroom waar je voor gaat zorgen. Staande voor je team (dat kunnen tot 25 mensen zijn) deel je met hen de visie en doelstellingen voor die dag. Het werkplan zal zijn om een bepaald volume te halen in een shift en dit zal ook veranderen doorheen de dag. Elk uur wordt een nieuw werkplan gelanceerd. Je moet de verbanden leggen om te begrijpen welke gebieden zullen worden beïnvloed: Kunnen we de aantallen nog halen? Op de werkvloer leid je het team, signaleer je problemen en bezorgdheden die je vervolgens rapporteert en oplost gedurende de dag. Je ziet in de gegevens wat er mis kan zijn en zoekt corrigerende maatregelen en oplossingen. Je observeert trends om te begrijpen hoe je kunt verbeteren.
"OWN TEAM MANAGEMENT"
Dit is een eerstelijnsleidinggevende functie, wat betekent dat het allemaal om mensen draait. Je bouwt sterke en langdurige relaties op met je team door regelmatig contact te leggen, een teamgeest te creëren en hen aan te moedigen op hun best te zijn. Je beheert alle HR-onderwerpen en bezorgdheden (vakantie, afwezigheid, contractverlengingen). Je helpt hen groeien door middel van beoordelingen en evaluaties en soms moet je moeilijke gesprekken leiden en managen.
"PART OF THE COACH COMMUNITY"
Dit is waar je in contact komt met je collega's. Je helpt elkaar ad hoc en in je wekelijkse coach connect waar je leiderschapsthema's en verbeterpunten evalueert zoals team engagement, vakanties, capaciteitsuitdagingen.
"LEADERSHIP"
Je streeft ernaar om een cultuur van continue verbetering te verankeren met je mensen en je processen. Je faciliteert de implementatie van nieuwe of pilot initiatieven in de DC's (strategische of lean projecten) en brengt de energie en drive mee om boven verwachting te presteren en prioriteiten in balans te brengen. Je bent altijd op zoek naar ideeën en mogelijkheden om onze dienstverlening aan onze teams en klanten te verbeteren.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In jouw functie kom je in contact met veel verschillende belanghebbenden: de distributiemanager(s) aan wie je rapporteert en het distributieteam waaraan je leiding geeft. Je hebt ook regelmatig contact met cross-functionele collega's, waaronder de afdeling planning, onderhoud, andere coaches en HR.

De Team Coaches in onze DC's zijn mensen met diverse achtergronden en ervaringen. Intern ontwikkelen onze DC talenten zich in deze rol. Extern zien we dat de volgende profielen succesvol zijn in onze teams:
- DC EXPERTS: je bent op zoek naar een verandering in het bedrijf of de omgeving waarin je momenteel werkt. Je hebt gedegen professionele expertise in DC management, maar je wilt werken in een zeer samenwerkingsgericht en state of the art DC zoals bij Nike.
- DIVERSE ERVARINGEN: je brengt people management-vaardigheden mee, maar misschien was je dat toen je leraar was, deed je ervaring op in de detailhandel of horeca of als personal trainer - en nu zou je graag een carrièreswitch maken en beginnen in de su
