Cochlear is looking for an experienced C++ developer to join their team in Mechelen, Belgium. The Clinical Software team is part of the global Customer Software department with development offices in Sweden, Belgium, India and Australia.

This role requires the person to have a very good view on the entire Hearing Implant system and be able to contribute to the system design aspects of the features of these Hearing implants systems when it comes down to the software libraries.

**Key Responsibilities**
- You will be part of a team of highly talented and motivated professionals responsible for developing objective measurements and algorithm libraries to support intraoperative decision making and evaluate the proper functioning of the medical implant hearing solution
- You will be responsible for designing, implementing and unit testing software libraries in C++ and Python
- You will contribute to the overall software design, including partitioning of the software, the architecture/structure of internal and external interfaces - with specific focus on implementation in the C++ environment
- You will collaborate with Engineers, Architects, Data scientists, and other functions within Cochlear to handle complex technical challenges

**This Is You**
- Minimum 3 years working with C++
- Experience with Python
- You are a team player with strong analytical skills and a positive mind
- Good verbal and written English language skills
