**About this vacancy**:
As a Buyer, your role will involve managing the preparation, execution, and follow-up of projects in line with Public Procurement Legislation. You will act as the primary point of contact for internal customers, providing advice on suppliers, addressing issues with vendors, and managing ongoing contracts while ensuring compliance with procurement regulations.
- Analyze the needs of internal customers and develop detailed specifications based on their input and requirements.
- Define selection and award criteria, providing technical procurement expertise.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate tenders.
- Negotiate optimal terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Prepare award reports in consultation with users and internal teams.

**What we expect from you**:

- A Master's degree in a commercial or technical field, or a Bachelor's degree with a background in commercial or technical procurement.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in procurement.
- A results-driven mindset.
- Technical knowledge or interest.
- Proficiency in both English and Dutch is required.
