General Ledger Accountant

The company is a worldwide trader of trucks and pick-ups. For the accountancy department they are looking for a General Leder Accountant - someone who has good knowledge of company taxing, international accounting and the interpretation of numbers.

**Jouw taken**:
Concretely, this translates into the following responsibilities:

- Assisting and preparing all kinds of VAT declarations, both local and foreign;
- Prepare and advice in tax matters;
- Transfer pricing documentation is followed up on by you;
- Assisting in the reconciliation of balance & profit/loss;
- Prepare internal and external audits - quality management solutions;
- Assisting in the inventory accounting (provisions reporting);
- Being the back-up for the input of IFRS accounting and bank statements.

**Jouw profiel**:
Which requirements do you ideally meet?
- A Master's degree in Tax - Accountancy;
- Good knowledge of English (communication abroad);
- Experience with SAP;
- Ideally experience in a similar job for about 3 years or more;
- A first experience in BEGAAP;
- Knowledge of Power BI, Excel (power query, power pivots);
- A wide interest in European VAT & tax.

Nice to have:

- Knowledge of IFRS;
- You have a pro-active mind, thinking along with the company and interpreting financial developments.
