**Process Architect**
as member of the PSABDP Enterprise Architect Group

Our team of enterprise architects are working with Business and IT to improve our current system infrastructure and to enable it to fulfill future requirements.

**Position Summary**:
In this regard you will closely align with the Application Architect.

**Roles & Responsibility**:

- Primary responsibility is evaluation of existing processes and designing improved future processes
- Identify strengths and areas for process improvement, establishing links between business strategies and improvement initiatives
- Provide leadership and expertise throughout the design and improvement of processes
- Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
- Lead large-scale transformations of complex business processes
- Meet with business and technical leaders to identify and scope opportunities, outline potential value and ROI, and identify risks and constraints
- Act as mentor or coach to business stakeholders by providing training and guidance
- Develop process architecture strategy for business units and organizations based on a situational awareness of various business scenarios and motivations
- Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed

**Job Requirements**: Person Specifications / Profile**:

- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in documenting and evaluating of complex end-to-end business processes preferrrably in supply chain management, logistics and/or shipping industry
- Experience in developing process architecture standards to bring consistency to process solutions (Policy, Standards, Process, Roles & Accountability, process automation, inter-process linkages, control objectives, metrics/KPIs & maturity guidelines)
- Experience with standard tools and methodologies to design, model, execute, monitor and analyze business processes (e.g. BPMN, UML, BPM software)
- Certifications in Project and/or Business Process Management, Process Improvement are desired (e.g. PMP, TOGAF, ITIL, PMI, Lean Six Sigma)
- Familiar with benchmarking services to gather, synthesize and analyze information on Best Practice adoption
- Savvy in using interviews, workshops, document analysis, surveys, Kaizen Events, user scenarios, process maps, task and workflow analysis to gather the required information
- Experience in engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders with a proactive and positive attitude
- Strong personal effectiveness as a team player, change agent and demonstrated perseverance to drive and achieve desired outcomes
- Strong communications skills
