Investigator Trainer I

In this role, you will provide education and training activities to sponsors, investigators, study coordinators and other departments.

**In more details, you will**:
1. Provide project specific training to investigators and study coordinators, including but not limited to:

- Prepare appropriate materials and conduct presentations for investigator meetings or site meetings.
- Answer education/training related questions including, but not limited to, specimen collection/handling and transportation requirements.
- Provide telephone training and problem resolution to site needs.

2. Thoroughly review the Statement of Work (SOW) against the protocol during the investigator meeting discussions and provides follow up of any discrepancies noted.

3. Initiate calls to investigator sites and/or sponsors to provide training via teleconferences or web-based training sessions.

4. Provide written correspondence to investigator sites with regards to project modifications and retraining issues.

5. Effective and timely adherence to management communications, meetings, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

6. Assist and support management in the implementation of global processes and procedures.

7. Document all service failures, resolve, and escalate to management when appropriate resolution is incomplete.

8. Other duties as assigned.

**What we’re looking for**:
Investigator Trainers are the most successful at Labcorp with:

- BS/BA degree (or equivalent) in medical, technical or laboratory related science OR equivalent related experience.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally with ability to transport materials/equipment as needed.
- Demonstration of strong presentation skills.
- Demonstration of strong customer service skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Demonstration of a high degree of initiative and ability to work collaboratively.
- Fluency in English. Any additional language is a plus.
