We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Developer with a background in renewable energy to join our team. In this role, you will take charge of developing strategic initiatives and driving projects to completion, focusing on critical aspects such as strategy, planning, and execution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to manage all phases of project development, from inception to successful implementation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that align with our mission of fostering a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities
Negotiate, finalize, and submit contracts with landowners and authorities, in close collaboration with project and regional managers.
Ensure the smooth execution of projects from launch to obtaining all necessary permits, working closely with technical, legal, and financial teams.
Monitor project progress, manage budgets and risks, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve positive outcomes.
Ensure effective communication with key stakeholders to create optimal support and project feasibility.
Represent the company and build its reputation with local and regional communities, the general public, and professional associations.
Work with a high degree of autonomy and take responsibility for the results of your team and territory.

**Qualifications**:
Master’s degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 4 years of project management experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector, with a proven track record of successful projects.
Expertise in prospecting, project planning, risk management, resource management, and stakeholder communication.
Strong strategic planning and organizational skills.
Experience with project management software and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, both internally and externally.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
High degree of flexibility and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
Solid financial skills and experience in budget management.

Fluency in English and Dutch and/or French.
