One of our clients leader in the financial sector is looking his / her future Test Manager.
**Context**:
Manage testing activities in organizations with extensive testing operations.
Responsible for formulating test methodologies and tests planning & launches. Directs several group leaders and many software testers.
**Your Role**:
Change management related to the implementation of above test strategy.
Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements:
Drafts, revises and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy.
Creates test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow
Coordinates with users to plan user acceptance testing, alpha and beta testing
Ensures that system tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved
Contribute to or manage the deployment preparation and execution for both Pre-Production and Production until the end of the warranty period
Manages, motivates, and assesses performance of teams of Testers.
Supports the development of the capabilities of teams.
Coordinates / oversees testing and provides a support resource.
Contributes to the determination of resource utilization.
Ensures the implementation of test standards and best practices & contributes to their development
Engages with internal stakeholders in various areas of the organisation to seek alignment and collaboration. Deals with external stakeholders / Vendors.
Specifies and coordinates the testing for the implementation of a set of projects. Responsible for meeting project objectives within quality, time, and budget targets, and for managing associated risks.
Has a direct and controlling impact on the results of testing for a specific area of the organization, contributing to the fact that there is no disruption to mission critical business services in this area and maintaining a clear competitive advantage for the company.
Is accountable for the tactical direction and medium-term planning (6 months to 1 year) of the activities required to achieve these results.
Decision-making involves the use of judgment within the scope of the defined strategy.
