In **Antwerp**, TotalEnergies has one of the most **efficient integrated platforms** for refining and petrochemicals. The site is ideally located in the **port of Antwerp** for the supply of crude oil and in the heart of the European markets.
**Context**:
For its Refinering activity in Antwerp, **TotalEnergies** is hiring a **Junior Production Planner** to work on optimizing the operation schedule and maximizing the general performance of the Business Unit.
Within the Planning team, you will be in charge of one of these activities**:Gasoline, Distillates, Crude Oil or Production units**. As part of a team of 12 Planners, you will have the opportunity to expend your knowledge in planning and optimization while actively contributing to the daily operation of the Refinery.
The Junior Production Planner role is a **very operational, dynamic and cross-functional position**,as it covers a wide scope of activities: economic Optimization, Production, Logistics and Quality. No need to say that **coordination and communication** are key
**The role**:
As **Junior Production Planner**, you will:
- Co-construct with the other planners an optimized production and logistic schedule: time horizon of several weeks, adjustment to available feedstocks, product demand, production and logistic capacities.
- The guideline of this schedule is a Monthly Program built together with the Supply, Sales & Optimization team and adjusted to the market environment and technical constraints.
- On a daily basis, monitor the program execution, coordinate the activity (production, logistic, lab ) for your product line and with your fellow planners, take corrective actions, adjust your schedule to new constraints or economics.
- Write the daily instructions for operations and edit production forecasts for the Supply & Sales.
- Optimize the blending (fabrication) recipes, follow the product quality and adjust.
- Take an active role in the Optimization meetings and to the Real Time Performance Control.
- You start with one of the 4 activities (Gasoline, Distillates, Crude Oil or Production units) and, after a learning curve, get full proficiency in the whole scope.
You will also participate to the 24/7 on-call system for refinery planning, in turn.
**Your profile**:
- **Qualified Engineer** with a background in **Refining & Petrochemicals**, or a first experience in an **operational environment** (production, logistic, laboratory)
- Good **communication **and **teamwork skills**:
- Excellent **coordinator **and quick **decisionmaker**:
- You are able to work in a **moving environment** and know how to work under the pressure of operational activity
- You are **positive **and **proactive**:
- Well **organized **with an eye for details
- You are **fluent in English with** a **good level of Dutch**. Knowledge of French appreciated.
